Bon Voyage!

The day began with a 6 AM alarm, to get on the road to Toronto. Liz, Sanja, and I packed all our bags and headed to Canada to depart to Europe. The journey was not long and definitely worth it. We had used a Student Travel Agency to book our flights and found that traveling from Canada was a better deal than anywhere else. The wait for the flight to Europe was filled with anxious happy thoughts. All of us were in such shock that the time had finally come for the 2 month long internship and we could not have been more excited. Once we arrived and got our keys we headed to our apartment. As soon as the taxi dropped us off, we realized how ideal our location was by how lively it was. With people standing, eating, talking, and riding bikes, the energy was beaming. All eight of us interns were all able to live in the same building. The apartment went way above my expectations through its size and location. It was a great start to a surreal opportunity and experience.
