The one before we leave

I can not believe how fast 8 weeks can fly by. I feel like yesterday I was stepping off the plane in to Florence eager for my time abroad. This final week I went to Ibiza for a couple days to sit by the beach. What a beautiful city Ibiza is. The water from the sea is so clear you can see almost 12 feet under you. I got to go on a boat cruise where we boated out to another island to go swimming in the clear blue sea. I loved wrapping up my trip getting to go Ibiza and seeing Spain. In these 8 weeks I have done and learned so many things that I will always remember. I have now been to 5 countries and seen the difference between not only all of them, but also the difference compared to America. One difference that has really stood out to me is how most people in Europe live for life, not for work. Service is slower, everything seems slower because they are living for experiences. I love to live this way and loved that life style that I got to see. For anyone who has ever thought about studying aboard but was scared too, I say you have to do it. Being here during college was worth every moment and I would not trade my experience for anything. I can not wait for the next chance I get to come back to Florence, let alone Europe because I will not pass up the opportunity.
