Benvenuti a Firenze

As my plane touched down in Italian soil, I could not keep a smile off my face for a very long time. After months of anticipation, it was hard to believe I was finally in Florence. I did not know what to expect for the duration of our experience, but everything was looking extremely positive. Over the last few days of exploring the city, I have already been blown away on how different the culture is than the United States. Upon meeting with my property, Eataly, I have become more eager to observe how the hospitality industry flows out here. The concept of the property seemed to be more interesting than I had originally expected and I am excited to be a member of the team. Aside from not adjusting to the new time zone, I am thinking nothing but positively.
