Italian culture is very different than American. One major difference is the way people go shopping and purchase groceries. In the United States it is common to purchase everything in one location such as a super store. This is easier for Americans to purchase everything that they will need. In Italy the shopping experience is very different. Italians seek the freshest and healthiest food; for the best quality of food they make their purchases at markets. The food free of preservatives and their food does not stay fresh long so the Italian make multiple trips per week. The quality of the ingredients create amazing meals both because of taste and the way they look.
