Reale Firenze, Milan and Cinque Terre!
Where to start? This week has been so exciting and eventful! To start, Lois, Francesca and I made our way to our summer internship at Reale Firenze. Reale is a tapas bar/restaurant but it also has an awesome large outside patio with a bar and street food. Some nights they also have live music! The atmosphere is fantastic. Reale is attached to the train station so you would think that there would be lots of tourists but there are not. Most customers are Italian and do not speak much English which has proven to be hard. Luckily our bosses have helped us to provide the best service we can without knowing Italian.
On Wednesday we took a class trip to Milan. It was so interesting to see how modern but historic it is. We had lunch at Eataly and then had dessert at California Bakery which is an American dessert bakery. I had New York Cheesecake and I have to say it may have been better than any cheesecake I have ever had! After dessert, we visited the Cathedral. All of us climbed 200+ stairs to the top and it was the most beautiful view!
On Thursday we visited Cinque Terre. It was a long train ride there and home but the beach and cities were beautiful!
