Esplorando
It is really amazing living in such a vibrant city with so much culture, art, and history. As I left the first time I was upset that I started to take the city for granted. I stopped really looking at the city. I would walk to work, class or the store and even tho I was surrounded by architecture, art, statues, and history everywhere I stopped noticing it. I'd just get where I was heading, do what I needed and head home. I was really upset that I didn't appreciate the opportunity that I was given to take everything in. When I had returned home I had wished I had gone on more walks and got lost in the city, found a new statue or building, or even a new gelateria. I was always so excited for my next trip to a new place but had so much more I could see or do in Florence. Today I caught myself doing the same thing, and again I became upset with myself. Now that I am realizing this earlier this time, I am going to take advantage of the remaining time I have here and try to see and do everything that Florence has to offer.
Pictured is the Tempio Maggiore Israelitico Di Firenze (Great Synagogue of Florence). Just one of my finds this week.
