J'aime Paris!
This week Stephanie, Lois, and I went to Paris! I took four years of french and I learned so much about Paris from the history, the things to see, and how to use the metro. I was surprised that I remembered how to use the metro which really came in handy in this big city! The first night we didn't get in until 7:30 and after some learning curves we made it to our Airbnb. We then decided to go to the Eiffel tower because it was lit up to show support for Orlando. Seeing the Eiffel tower lit up with the american flag in the middle is something I will never forget.
The second day we started at the home of the original french macoron. We then went to the Arc de Triomphe. We climbed to the top and got some awesome photos! After that we went to the Jardin des Tuileries and we had a short visit of the Louvre. We then got to go to the catacombs!
The thirds day we started at the Sacre Coure which is the highest point of Paris. It has an amazing view of the city and is an amazing church. After a quick photo opportunity at the Opera Garner We went to the Notre Dame and heard the bells ringing. We then had dinner by the Eiffel tower and headed back so we can get some sleep before our early flight. I loved Paris and really hope I can go back some day!
