From Rome to Paris

After getting back from Roma, I only had a couple days at work than it was off to Paris. I was scared to come to Paris because of all the bad things that have been happening here; but I figured this would be my chance to come here. I am so glad I took this opportunity to come to Paris. We got to experience so many things that are once in a life time opportunities. To start, we got on the metro and started to head to our Air BnB. At one of the stops, a bunch of people in soccer jerseys got on to the metro. That is when we realized we are in Paris during the Euro 2016! How lucky for us to be here during a big European event. After we got into our Air BnB, we decided to see the Eiffel Tower at night since we are right by it. It just so happened that they decided to light the Eiffel Tower in a rainbow to honor Orlando. It was cool to see that since I am from the United States and people at home would be sharing photos taken by others. The second day here we saw the Laduree (original macaroon), Arc De Triomphe, The Louvre, The Tuileries, and the Catacombs. I really loved Catacombs the most. I am a ghost hunter and going down to see the Catacombs was something I always wanted to do, but never thought I would be able too. On our last day, we saw Sacre Coeur, the Opera House where Phantom of the Opera takes place in, and Notre Dame. While at Notre Dame, we got to hear them ring the bells. Overall, Paris is an amazing place and I'm so happy I decided to come on this trip.
