The Cavaliers are Champions!!

This week started off a little more special than other weeks. The Cleveland Cavaliers are finally champions!! I am so happy that after a six hour shift I decided to stay up with the other girls to watch and celebrate the win. It was very cool to be around other Cavalier fans as well as some Warrior fans at 5am celebrating.

On Tuesday, our group along with Nicoletta visited the Medici Chapel in Florence. The chapel was relatively small to see but the work of Michelangelo is indescribable. Nicoletta shared with us that at the time Michelangelo was working on the Medici Chapel he was called to Rome to do the Sistine Chapel so for awhile some parts of the Medici Chapel were unfinished. We also saw some bones of Saints!

On Wednesday, Liz, Brian and I decided we wanted to travel to the beach! I googled some beaches and decided on Castiglioncello. Castiglioncello does not seem like a tourist location but for a Wednesday there were many people out enjoying the 95 degree weather. The water was crystal clear and although the beach was more rocky than sandy we had a fun day and have sunburns to prove it.
